Yet another co-ed shower on Saturday, this time a wedding shower. I thought it was fun just because it's always more fun to do things with Michael, even though I can't say I endorse the trend. Lots of delicious food and the most exquisite punch. There were chocolate-covered strawberries and these delicious ham and cream cheese pinwheels. Michael complimented Deanne on them. 'Oh, thanks, they're so easy,' she replied. 'And so even, too,' he added. 'You sliced the ham first and then spread the cream cheese and then rolled each one up, right? How painstaking!' 'No, actually, you spread the cream cheese first...' she began to explain, before realising that Michael was joking. We played a couple of games, one of which reminded me very strongly of those marshmallow and lifesaver games we used to play at the Lisks, which sounded so innocent in theory and whose suggestive undertones only became apparent in practise. =)
